I also teach private classes balancing the two hours between theory, techique and time to paint. Many of my students stay with me over several years, progressing from beginners to award winning painters. Many students arrive at my class apprehensive but find my teaching style to be nonjudgmental, and the classroom supportive. I offer three day workshops throughtout the year, giving us a chance to paint plein aire and to give us a fresh look at a new landscape. My students use words for my work such as profound color, naturalist, birds, raptors, corvids and spiritual.
