About My Giclee Prints
Solstice Raven, Giclee Print by Cheryl Renee Long
The word giclee means "to spray" in French. My giclee prints are produced on an Epson inkjet printer and by a master printer (not me in my studio). My giclees are printed at the Michael Backus Studio in Eugene, Oregon, with archival ink on archival watercolor paper.
I limit my runs to 100 so you will see your print with my signature and the numbers indicated in this format, 1/100. A giclee print is not a poster; it is not produced at your friendly local copy shop or on someone's desk top. It is truly worth what you are paying for it. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. My giclees will not fade in your lifetime and with care will last well beyond you or me.
